Rehoboth Avenue Railroad Era diorama with Paul Lovett.

Diorama Talks with Paul Lovett.  Visit the Rehoboth Avenue Railroad Era diorama with Paul Lovett.  The dust covers are removed allowing visitors to peer closely at the display and the features are electrified. The train moves to the station; the merry-go-round rotates; the smoke stack smokes; Scott’s Chapel’s bell tolls; seagulls squawk; farm animals are heard. See the town as it might have looked at night.

Each presentation is different depending on the interests of the attendees.

Rehoboth Beach Museum Annual Walking Tours

Rehoboth Historical Society’s walking tours to start June 20

Our tour guide, Jean Brolund, is back and ready to take you on a tour of downtown Rehoboth Beach from the bandstand on main street, down the boardwalk and side streets. The tour lasts about 90 min., so wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. This historical tour providesgeneral information about the history of Rehoboth Beach and the changing streetscape of buildings over the years, both business and residential. Ms. Brolund will lead walkers from the bandstand along Rehoboth Avenue, pointing out landmarks and providing photos of historical sites and events while touching on several of the storms that have shaped the coastline and the beachfront.
