Goodbye to Royal Treat Ice Cream Social

The Rehoboth Beach Museum is having an Ice Cream Social with a goodbye to The Royal Treat, a long-time institution, formerly on Wilmington Avenue in Rehoboth Beach. There will be an exhibit on the second floor of the Museum displaying artifacts from the Royal Treat. The display will include tables and chairs from the iconic shop,that served breakfast in the mornings and reopened in the afternoons as an Ice cream parlor.

Ice cream will be served on the back patio of the museum, and at 1 pm the string band, Back Bay Strummers, will perform in the lecture hall. The tables and chairs from the original building will be available to acquire.
