Snyder's Newstand & Ice Cream Store

The Rehoboth Beach Museum presents Donna Vassalotti recounting the history of Snyder's Candy Store from its inception as a newsstand, ice cream and soda fountain.  Snyders became the local teen hang out and bus stop starting 1936. It has changed hands over the years and Donna will take you through the changes.

You will also learn about earlier icecream parlors in Rehoboth and a little ice cream history as well.  Expect to be entertained by a few local tales that will tickle your funny bone.

This event will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 5 pm in the John N. & Jean K. Papajohn Lecture Hall at the Rehoboth Beach Museum, 511 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971, 302-227-7310. Seating is limited so reserve your spot early!
