In Their Own Words: Oral Histories Of Women of Rehoboth Beach.

In celebration of Women's History month the Rehoboth Beach History Museum is going to present recorded oral histories of Rehoboth Beach women who made their mark on the town.  These programs will be held at the Ann Hazzard Tent House at 17 Christian Street at 1 p.m. Every Saturday in March there will be a recording of another woman's oral history. These oral histories consist of audio only. There is limited seating so reservations are a must. We will announce when registration opens.

The Rehoboth Beach Historical Society and Museum continues its series, In Their Own Words with the Oral History of Mrs. Evelyn Dick Thoroughgood.

Mrs. Thoroughgood was a well know fixture in Rehoboth Beach whose family moved to Rehoboth in the late 1880s. She reminisces about her school days, the war years and what is was like growing up in Rehoboth Beach.

Please join in as she shares her interesting recollections of Rehoboth Beach in days gone by.
