The Rehoboth Beach Historical Society and Museum will continue its series, In Their Own Words with the Oral History of Francis S. Riley.

This video oral history of Mr. Francis Riley was conducted on August, 2017  by Nancy Alexander with Seth Melchert his son. Mr. Riley's family summered in Rehoboth Beach in a group of houses his family built on Columbia Ave. Mr. Riley’s family built and occupied the first house in Rehoboth that was ready for occupancy at 18 Virginia Avenue when Rehoboth was established. The house was built by his great grandmother. 

Mr. Riley reminences about Piney Island, Civil Air Patrol, World War II, and summer fun.This virtual presentation will offer closed captioning.
